Choose a play pattern first, then use Race, Class, Archetype and Persona as separate evidence layers.
Start with the 3 × 3 matrix
The current source set supports Human, Minotaur and Elf alongside Brawler, Magician and Shadow. All Race and Class combinations are intended to be mixable, producing nine current launch Archetype combinations.
Do not confuse Archetype with a fixed job
An Archetype is the combined Race × Class identity and its progression layer. A few names are publicly documented—such as Vanguard, Earthshaker and Elemental Ranger—but the other launch combinations should not receive invented names.
Persona changes the role-play layer
Hero, Stoic, Scholar and Joker are the current Persona directions recorded by the source. Persona should be treated as a dialogue and relationship tendency until the EA client confirms its exact effects; it is not a reason to claim a permanent combat tier list.
The 48-combination warning
Steam marketing still describes eight Races × six Classes, while recent developer material describes nine current Archetypes. Keep 48 as the long-term design promise and nine as the pre-EA playable foundation until the client resolves the difference.
