Dimraeth DB editorial guide
The short version

Use this page as the field desk: follow the route, solve the next practical problem, and leave every unverified number visibly open.

01

What is live at launch

The current public launch frame is Human, Minotaur and Elf combined with Brawler, Magician and Shadow: nine current Race × Class combinations. Level 25 is the Act I cap, while the store's eight Races × six Classes remains a long-term target rather than the day-one menu.

02

The route card

Follow Earlwood into Wildwood, solve Lost Child through Northern Crossing, find the Goblin Hideout from the surface, clear the raid, reach Hoard King's Fall, defeat the Goblin King, then continue Clear the Way, Keys of Bark and Stone, Light the Wayfinder Line, Crown of Thorns and Forest Path to Aelwynor the Wildroot Father.

03

When Wildwood looks blocked

A nearby objective marker does not always mean the entrance is nearby. For Lost Child, search for Northern Crossing instead of clearing every event. For Goblin Hideout, start at Wildwood Center, stay on the surface, use Farmstead General as a landmark and treat the change to Clear the Raid as the real navigation checkpoint.

04

Boss preparation in two passes

For Goblin King, wait for Hoard King's Fall and Tamsin's explosive, reset at the Sanctum, let the King commit, then punish briefly while keeping space for the added goblins. For Forest King, separate Poison, floor hazards and the Fey add; cure the status, preserve movement, remove the Fey when it disrupts the run and let Bleed, Poison or Decay work while repositioning.

05

Craft the survival chain first

The refreshed community snapshot lists Water as 1× Droop Gelo at the Alchemy Table, Poison Cure as 3× Dryad Lock + 3× Tenderberry + 3× Water, and the lesser Health, Concentration and Stamina potions as the first recovery candidates. These are candidate EA rows, not verified drop or recipe guarantees, so keep them visibly version-labelled.

06

Agree on the co-op World

Level, Equipment, Inventory, Spells and Personal Progression travel with the character; Story Progress, recruited allies and Buildings remain in the host World. Before building a permanent Stronghold, decide whose World owns the campaign. If loot or boxes behave unexpectedly, test personal loot, LockBuildtoOwner and the chest Public / Private setting separately.

07

What this page refuses to hard-code

Do not turn the wiki.gg six-tier equipment snapshot into current EA truth while the developer discussion describes four public rarity levels. Do not publish fixed Boss HP, drop rates, pet abilities, map coordinates or skill-tree node costs until a current client capture or repeated runs support them.

08

Use achievements as a first-run checklist

Steam currently shows 37 achievements. A New Start marks First Steps; Novice, Adept, Veteran, Chaptered and Seasoned Veteran correspond to Levels 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25. Blob Slayer and Timber! point to Monstrous Droop and Corrupted Treant, while Long Live the King, Uprooted and The Hart of the Forest expose the Goblin King, Woldroot the Path Guardian and Aelwynor. The names are useful breadcrumbs, not proof of every prerequisite.

09

Separate the three multiplayer permissions

Personal Loot controls whether a player sees that character's drops; it does not make every chest private. LockBuildtoOwner is the reported building-access setting for chests and doors. A chest's Public / Private state is closer to whether its contents can feed Crafting Benches. Set the host's ownership rule first, then decide which material chests should be public; keep valuable gear out of shared storage.

10

Confirm World difficulty before investing

The current post-launch discussion says World difficulty is chosen at creation and cannot be changed later. Some players also reported Moderate loading as Hard, so exit and re-enter a new World immediately to confirm difficulty, public status and host settings. If the difficulty is wrong, back up the save before rebuilding rather than investing NPC, building and story progress into a bad World.

11

Hand over a World safely

On Windows, a complete World is reported as %USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/Mudtek/Dimraeth/Worlds/<world_name>.jrwf, alongside <world_name>.jrwf.bak1 and .bak2. Copy the main file and both backups before migration; rename or back up a same-name file at the destination because copying can overwrite it. Character progress travels with the player, but story, buildings and NPC progress require the World file. Never delete the original as the first step.

12

Keep launch issues out of the mechanics pages

Hotfix 0.107.7694 reports fixes for large-server NPC dialogue, abandoning Side Quests, Maintaining the Defenses delivery, Storage Chest pages and Plague Shards audio. Separate community reports include skill-point overspend after an interruption, a tutorial craft that belongs in the backpack, a Sanctum invisible-area escape via Waypoint, bonfire re-entry locks and controller dialogue that may require keyboard. Treat all of these as version 0.107.x troubleshooting, not intended rules.

13

Persona is dialogue, not a combat class

The recorded Persona directions are Hero, Stoic, Scholar and Joker. Persona changes the tendency of dialogue answers and can shift as the player keeps choosing different responses; current public material does not prove a direct damage, spell or attribute bonus. Keep Persona in the role-play and relationship layer, separate from Race, Class, Archetype and combat stats.

14

Rest at a campsite before recrafting everything

Community guidance distinguishes a world campsite, which can be used to rest at any time, from the Sanctum tent, which is reported to be night-only. Resting can replenish combat consumables such as potions and elemental flasks; cooking food at a Campfire is a different interaction. A practical Boss reset is: unload inventory → rest at a safe point → cook food and prepare status cures → enter the Boss area.

15

A ruined spellbook is not a learned spell

The current report says a glowing ruined spellbook found in Wildwood first adds a restore recipe. Keep the item, then use the Guild Hall NPCs who can process books to obtain the restored, usable Spellbook; community reports mention an old trainer and tailor, but the exact responsible NPCs are not confirmed. Track ruined spellbook, restore recipe and restored spellbook as three separate records; Light Reading means finding the ruined item, not learning the final spell. Exact NPC, material and cost still need a client capture.

16

Keep the three spell sources visible

Race + Class spells are purchased through the skill trees and can branch into modifiers. Universal Attribute Spells come from shop Spellbooks after an attribute threshold and are described as usable by any Race and Class. Boss spells require the Boss unlock plus a crafted Spellbook, sometimes with an attribute gate. A Mage is not the only character who can use universal or Boss spells, and Boss materials alone may not unlock the craft.

17

Act I is a range, not one exact timer

The official Early Access FAQ estimates roughly 12–15 hours of Act I story, while launch reviews report about 15–30 hours depending on exploration, reading, side content and route speed. After the current story endpoint, Guild Hall repeatable Dungeons and Bosses, Deeds, Bounties, Stronghold upgrades, Pets, NPC relationships and gear collection become the main loop. Planned Race/Class updates before Act II are roadmap context, not current playable content.

18

Current class, healing and relationship boundaries

Early Access currently has Brawler, Magician and Shadow; Summoner is a future plan, not a fourth selectable Class, even if some skills may temporarily summon something. There is no confirmed standalone pure-healer spell or fixed Healer role—describe builds as having healing components when verified. Romance exists, but not every NPC is romanceable and the targets, thresholds and rewards are not complete. Attribute respec is also unresolved: a trainer reportedly mentions a special item, so do not promise free respecs or permanent lock-in; back up before testing.

19

Chinese sources need their own verification lane

The Chinese video found in this pass is a 2026-02-03 Demo playthrough: useful for UI and operation references, but too old to confirm EA races, quests, maps or values. Prefer Steam Simplified Chinese announcements, current-client screenshots and player-submitted route recordings for Chinese-language entries. Until a reliable post-launch Chinese walkthrough exists, label the section as Chinese submissions pending verification rather than silently translating Demo facts.

20

Keep the remaining queue visible

The next evidence work is client capture, not more speculative pages: full quest coordinates and triggers, complete drops and recipes, spell costs and cooldowns, pet names and abilities, the attribute-respec item, romance targets and rewards, and later Boss phases. These fields should stay blank or marked Needs Verification until screenshots, recordings or repeated current-version runs support them.
