How to Build or Dismantle a Tent

A common early quest confusion: the task may ask you to dismantle the tent you already have.

The short version

Demo shortcut: Build Menu → target the existing Tent → hold SPACE to dismantle.

Read the objective literally

The Demo tent task was commonly mistaken for a request to leave and gather a second set of building materials. The existing tent is the object to inspect first.

The recorded Demo input

Open the Build Menu with B, aim at the existing Tent, then hold SPACE to dismantle it and recover its materials. The key binding and prompt must be checked again in EA.

What to do if it does not trigger

Move the cursor or character focus onto the tent, confirm Build Mode is active, and follow the current on-screen prompt. If the interaction changed, record the new input instead of carrying forward the Demo shortcut.
